Does anyone have any information on why this book by Terry Hayes has not been made into a movie yet?
Also why has the author's follow-up novel, The Year of The Locust, been a preorder on Amazon for something like 8 years yet no book or a release date.

I loved I Am Pilgrim and everyone I recommended it to also loved it. Its the type of book that gets made into a movie or a series. I couldn't wait to read any other novels by the author, but he wrote one amazing novel and then nothing.

His next book will be about a writer who struggles to write his second book.

"I am Pilgrim" is one of my favorite books ever.

It is such a huge story it would have to be done as mini series. The main character is so flawed and compelling, as are the supporting characters that the only way to do it justice would be a mini-series.

Here's to hoping it gets done eventually.

Maybe TCTTS can acquire the rights and this can be the series he's looking for.
