I remember a bit on some comedy show, maybe early Daily Show or Man Show, where they a field reporter would ask a celebrity a question and then just stare silently at them, forcing the celebrity to fill in the silence and ramble. I mostly just remember Kelsey Grammer being interviewed.

Banzai! Had Mr shake hands man who would ask a question then constantly shake hands and bow with red carpet interviewee and you had to guess how long the celeb would do it before getting confused and walk away.
