When I went to see it, the ticket stub abbreviated the title to A MUPPET CHRIST.

1. Scrooge with Albert Finney. A great musical! We watched it every year as kids and now it's harder to find.
2. Muppets.

The best version stars Alastair Sim: A Christmas Carol, 1951. Terrifying, dark, well-acted. Far superior to any of the others.

A Christmas Carol
Old Army is almost correct, the name of that version is "Scrooge", he is right that it's the best one by far. Alastair is the perfect Scrooge.

I grew up with Scrooge, as well. My dad always loved that one, so we would watch it every Christmas.

You are correct. This is the best version.
