Just recently have seen the previews for this. Looks like it will be good. Am planning on watching this next week. Anyone seen it yet?

I'll give it a watch eventually, to see how mean an ex-Confederate Ronnie Blevins (class of '99) is.

Watched it last week and enjoyed it, but forgettable and I won't watch again. No texags thread until now. Ben Foster as the bad guy slave hunter makes it a must watch.

Laughed sometimes at how over the top the violence and imagery was thinking it could be one of those trailers at the beginning of Tropic Thunder

It will be memory holed - liberals won't like it because of it's strong pro Christian faith message and extreme violence - it's like the passion of the Christ for slavery. Conservatives won't like it because the white characters are all stereotypically evil.
