haven't seen a thread on it, but wife picked it out and we have really enjoyed it so far, so i thought i would start one.

fairly cynical semi comedy/spy thriller about a kid that joins the cia as a lawyer.

pretty funny sexual/office dynamics, portrays the cia (probably very accurately) as a ****hole where literally everyone is ****ing each other over 24/7,%A0 has all the requisite psycho russian mafia, cartel, etc., intrigues.

has the necessary mysterious tarantino style femme fatale spy opposite the cocky young idiot lawyer, and of course his innocent but rich ex girlfriend he is balancing, etc.

certainly some things that stretch belief, but what show doesnt?%A0 overall very enjoyable so far.

i didnt see that movie, but it is hard to imagine collin farrell being very exciting.

anyway, the show is very enjoyable, if you ask me. I felt like it was one of the better shows on right now.

it has a clear lane - but covers a lot of bases.

sort of like 'office space' only mocking the cia/washington DC office culture, along with a traditional spy thriller/mystery vibe going and pretty good characters across the board.

we just finished the season, and it delivered across the board i would say. there were a few things you had to suspend disbelief for, but a lot less than popular shows like yellowstone, for instance.

man, i really liked that movie.

the series is not really like the movie, but we're definitely enjoying it thus far.

this show is terrible - enjoy

I could barely make it through the first episode. Not sure what it is about it - maybe the unbelievable nature of it that I found a turnoff.
