Is it me, or does this AI/doll thing look like an Olsen sister?

It was ok. Nothing special and not as good as it's RT score imo. I would say a middle of the road Black Mirror.

Is it worth it in the theater?

Eh. If you've nothing else going on, it's entertaining. But this would've been the ideal streaming watch imo. I felt the same about Smile fwiw.

Forgot to mention the weirdest aspect of this movie. Did someone tell the actor playing the boss that this was a parody movie? Seriously, he is in a completely different movie than the rest of the cast, and his character is endlessly grating. Absolutely terrible performance.

My first thought was Hitchock's "Marnie." Not the same but close enough.

Gemma was supposed to be the developer of this thing and she seems to only know a couple of tricks to turn it off. As a developer, why doesn't she fix any issue it has like not turning off properly? When something weird goes on, why isn't she cracking open the skull and tracing through M3gan's software & logfiles? When she sees odd interactions between it and her niece, why doesn't M3gan get a quick software tweak?

Ironic considering Allison Williams is similar to her character Marnie from Girls in this movie. That show is incredible, but I get that it's not easily relatable for everyone -- especially the majority of those on this board. Anyway, this movie was good. Gay guys especially love it for a reason.
