I tried to get tickets for Oct 24 on the presale. Everything was sold out by the time I got to the front of the line. I'll try again at the general on sale

I bet those aren't the last 6. They knew what demand was going to look like and should have announced all the shows at first.

Didn't get anything with Tier 1 Fan Club membership...there are tiers based on longevity and spend...

Had the option to buy 100 level enhanced at $1800 each but passed and regular tickets in the 100s disappeared in real time. There was still floor and snake pit/meet and greet available which was wild but based on this show, not really

there's only 2; legacy and 5th member.

In legacy presale, there was surprisingly a lot available for several hours all the way up until 11 am (I started at 8), I saw meet/greet, pit, GA, enhanced ex level 100 and 200, regular seats in 100, and a few regular seats in 200.

But the EEs 100/200 are $1900, too much for me (considering non EE was a fraction of that). Don't want GA/Snake since I don't think that's a good seat for this type of experience (also too expensive), and the only level 100s were way under the overhang. Only $500 for two shows.. but I keep telling myself, I don't want to not see the visuals.

A few times some regular priced level 200 seats came up (also only $500), but only solo seats, never a pair.

I never saw level 300/400.. except for the split second after I got in.

I went back in several times in 5th member presale, and never saw much of anything.

Trying again tomorrow for 15/17th, and again wednesday depending on dates, and again thurs, then again friday! It's not over yet. Haven't even gone 'on sale' yet. These two presales were surely highly allocated.

Our club president confirmed that newer and less active fan club members could only buy one show if available. I confirmed this on my wife's email address. They didn't have two night options.

I don't know if I believe that. I read through probably 1000 posts on the met forum today while sales were going on, never saw this come up.

what's crazy.. my theory only, as I experienced, tons of those $1900 Enhanced experiences remained available for 4 hours through the initial legacy sale. Obviously, people like myself just passing on that, either price point, or whatever.
But then 5th member sale (free membership) comes, and those are all immediately gone. I'd be wiling to bet there's a very large share of that group of people that are buying with intention to resell, so they don't care about cost, knowing they'll profit.

Just my theory. Legacy members know that there are rules with their codes.. they can't sell the code (will be revoked if caught), and even reselling for profit is pretty frowned upon.

But the free membership is the wild west.. any scalper can sign up with a new email as needed.

The Legacy codes are bought and sold pretty regularly, I've never heard of anyone ever getting kicked out.

Took me 5 minutes today to get my 2 tickets for both shows Oct 15th and 17th. It's restricted view in section 109, but it's all that was available, and the prices were low. We just want to see the band anyway. Staying next door at the Holiday Inn Resort. Looking forward to this trip with my son. Will be the 5th time we've seen them.

I passed on the restricted view seats. I've seen them 17.. several snake pits and many times in lower level close rows, so If I'm dropping a few grand, I want the sphere experience, which to me wasn't pit/ga or those obstructed seats. That was all that was available for 3 hours yesterday morning.
Once I see this show from 200/3/00/400, then future shows maybe I'd go for pit or ga.
Hoping for many more to keep the frenzy demand down.

no, apparently will be announced before wed am, just before the sale lol.
Gotta love all the time we get for planing!

The TM artist presale was a bust.. people with queue posts just a few thousand, and reports already all gone.

Most of these are getting allocated to the travel packages and backdoored to casinos. Metallica also typically works with a large broker to resell on secondary.

I'm curious as to how many are left for the general on sale after all presales/allocations.

new dates are 10/8+10 and 11/5+7 (no surprise) plus last weekend in jan 28/30

That could be it. I felt like Toyota Center had gotten tours that had done LiveNation/Ticketmaster venues at other cities. Could be as simple as some artists signing exclusivity and/or booking deals with one promoter.
