I started watching it from the beginning again with my daughter this weekend. I think Will is 5 years old in the first episode, Nancy weighs 41 pounds, and Steve's hair is 9 feet tall.

Seriously, all 4 seasons I've watched have been a slog to get through.

Then why keep watching them? I never understand why people keep watching a show they don't like. I've turned off a ton of shows after 1 episode, 1 season, or halfway through their run because I think, "Yah, this has gotten dumb." Why keep making yourself miserable and wasting time you could be doing literally anything else?

But I've had no less than 3 people who've seen the whole thing tell me that season 2 and 3 were a real slog.

This is a silly question.

If you watched Season 1 and liked it, then start Season 2. If you watched Season 1 and didn't like it, don't watch Season 2. If you start Season 2 and don't like it, stop watching. Life this is not a hard concept to understand.

If you have a list of 10-15 shows you are curious to watch and are looking for input on which one is worth starting first, then that makes sense to ask the board.

So many posts on TexAgs from people asking other people how they should live their lives. Obviously people are posting about the seasons, so many TexAgs posters like the show. What more are they going to say to convince you?

Filming is not scheduled to start until late May, so it will be a while before any spoilers start to show up

So if I guess major plot points that may or may not come true...

Sure they are not set in stone but my source is pretty good on stuff like this.

Spoilers: the demogorgon chases the team around their nursing home. They wonder what could be happening. No way this is related to the other 4 times crazy ish went down.
