Damn it, ignore this one. I saw people in the MCU thread saying there needed to be one, so I threw one up real quick, but somehow missed the other one, like an idiot.

I have an idea how to turn this thread into a dumpster fire quick so that everyone abandons it and posts on the other one. Just invite some of the posters from The Last of Us (non gamer) thread to post their thoughts on the realism and political undertones of the movie.

They can b*tch about Evangeline Lilly's hair here too.

NERD RAGE

I went in with low expectations (and various personal distractions) so consider that in my "review." I'm a big fan of the first 2 bc of Paul Rudd and the absurd concept of Antman. Again, maybe I wasn't in the right headspace or was mentally districted, but I have no idea what happened. I don't understand Kang's powers and/or motivations. This movie also had none of the charm of its predecessors (Pena was missed). On the whole, I think the MCU is trending down and I'm becoming fatigued with all of the interconnectivity between the movies and TV shows. Like TCTTS mentioned about the Mandalorian, I have neither the time not the patience to research all of this. I will watch Guardians 3 but I'm probably going to wait for most of the others to appear on Disney+ (esp The Marvels bc I need less Captain Marvel in my life, not more!)

I really enjoyed the movie. It's even more "out there" than guardians or any other movie. But that's how the Quantum Realm is supposed to be. It finally feels like we are headed one direction towards the next avengers movie. I for one miss the days of the movies taking place more on earth. But it appears we are headed that way.
