...in a world where Bob Dylan once lived? Where Bob Seger lives?

I'm gonna have to go with "Not so fast, my friend."

Edit: I totally thought Dylan was dead, lol.

That is a lot of quality songs there. I did not realize that Song of the South was a cover when Alabama recorded it.

Barry Gibb.

Wrote No. 1 hits in the 1960s, 1970s, 1980s, 1990s and 2000s. Only songwriter to write four successive No. 1 hits in the U.S.

Written songs recorded by a who's who of American pop music over the past six decades. The only male artist to have 10 songs on the 600 biggest songs of the Hot 100 Billboard in its history.

I was coming here to post Barry.

Another is Willie Nelson.

Also, Michael Sweet if you like Christian rock. He has written so many songs and is still writing and recording. He and George Lynch (of Dokken and Lynch Mob) have a third album dropping soon. He's always busy.

Considering they don't have one in t he 80s is a travesty.. So they should be on that #1 hits in 5 decades list.
The massess/billboard just weren't ready for what they were doing in the 80s.
