Starting with this song, which is one of the best songs ever made.

This song is one of my all time favorites and reminds me big time of my teenage years going to shows and being all consumed by the graffiti world.

And no hip hop thread would be complete without one of the best rappers of all time. This whole album kills. RIP

I can clearly remember riding in my buddy's '94 Chevy Stepside with this playing. 2 W-2 JL Audio 12" in a single cab truck, don't even think about using the rear view. A little ATLiens, some Ghetto Boys and we were perpetrating with the best of them.

That whole Gang Starr album is great. Even better is "Hard to Earn" imo that I was just listening to the other day which turned 29 last week. RIP Guru, one of the top 5 rappers of all time (DJ Premier top 3 producer).

I remember a kid at our school won a 1000W bass competition in Houston and they gave him a crappy Daewoo car. After he kitted it out, he could park at the Aerofit off Villa Maria and we could hear him at our duplex a quarter mile away, clear as day.

I had Rockford Fosgate subs with an amp brand I cant recall that lit up neon blue. I had a screen and Playstation in my cutlass on blades. I was the coolest ****ing high schooler. That was after I destroyed my lowered ranger with an entirely different sound system.

Traders village was the absolute best for a high schooler that wanted a system and had a little bit of scratch.

You probably didn't need to add "crappy" to Daewoo; it's understood.

Then Season of the Sicness dropped out of California in '95 by Brotha Lynch Hung, and blew up in Houston.

Grand Cherokee for me in high school with 2 12" Kenwood DB+ subs. Probably the 10 most rotated songs:

I'm older than all y'all. But my 85 Mustang GT with the custom box with 2 15" woofers in the back with the Rockford 500 and the 6x9s inthe back and component 5 1/4s in the front would knock pictures off ya mama's wall.
This song is the jam but came well after my time. I only had a 10" sub in the 95 Mustang GT when this came out.

I don't know which horns are more iconic, the trumpet from "Spottie…" or the sax from "T.R.O.Y." - I can never choose.

"T.R.O.Y." is the correct answer.
