A podcast I watch on YouTube, Millhouse Podcast, recently featured Huey Lewis on his love of fishing, hearing loss and musical career.

I had no idea he lost his hearing in 2018 due to meniere's disease, or that he loved fly fishing.

He touches on how he got into music, BTTF a power of love, and what made hits when AM/FM radio was the only way to get noticed. While this podcast is primarily focused on saltwater fly fishing, this episode will appeal to the masses.

For some background, Andy Mill runs this podcast with is son (the son of tennis great Chris Evert and Andy). Mill was a skier until he found religion in saltwater fly fishing.

Hey Paul!

I was anxious to hear Huey but these two guys aren't very good interviewers at all. "So what's it like being on the road? How does it feel to be on a big stage in a stadium and have everybody going crazy? So what is this disease you have, menniger's? Do you have anything else you'd like to say?"

Granted, they may have been out of their element interviewing a musician, but I was not impressed.

Interesting side note on Huey Lewis....

When I worked radio in Little Rock back in the 90's, I got to know Connie Hamsby. "Sweet Sweet Connie" from the Grad Funk RR song We're an American Band. World famous groupie. Her house was a literal rock and roll museum.

She swears, and she should know, that Huey Lewis is the most endowed man in the music industry.

And now you know.

Pamela Des Barres said it was Don Johnson, which was odd. Guess he actually performed a bit after his famous "Heartbeat" single.

We saw him at the San Antonio rodeo several years ago. He rocked it! Glad we could see him. Also managed to see ZZ Top before Dusty passed.
