Do you need a ginger character for diversity and inclusion? I have a full beard, am super pale. Pretty fit. I can pull of the SF operator look. If you include a steamy scene with a hot actress I won't object (but my wife will). Will work for cheap. Easily less than 8 figures per episode.

Yeah, but it's just a comp/dream casting kind of thing. Most of those are covers for pitch decks where we use various actors throughout as stand-ins to get a sense of casting types/aspirations, tone, etc.
Based on your posts, I suspect you are the person writing the pitches? Some really cool sounding stuff in there.
Thanks. Some of them are from the writers we have on those projects, but if we don't have a writer yet, or material to draw from, yeah, there are two of us (producers) who write everything else up. Then I do all the covers and design the pitch decks as well.
I'm actually genuinely curious about how the diversity additions often work in these projects. Are the races/sexes/sexual orientations usually written into the original scripts or does that get adapted much later on? Who makes the final call on these things?
It depends. If race/sexual orientation is part of the character's plight, or affects the plot, it's written into the script. If not, then it's often left ambiguous and casting is ultimately up to the director, producers, studio, etc. Based on auditions, availability, cast chemistry, and then, yes, a general aim for the cast to be as diverse as possible, within reason, in attempt to bring in the largest, most diverse audience possible.
