Still like the first one better but I did enjoy the action scenes. Golshifteh Farahan was really good and her scenes seemed more real as far as fighting much bigger guys than her. Good popcorn flick.

I was impressed as well. You can't fake athleticism; fast cuts and angles usually try to cover that up. This didn't have that at all. Impressive.CoolAggie said:

It's sort of like the plot of the 80's classic "Commando" except the hero is rescuing someone else's kid.Quote:

Extraction features a really high body count & a ridiculous amount of bad shooting from the enemy to contrast with the amazing shooting of Thor.
It's an OK watch, but watching my childhood crush Alyssa Milano (before she went B Shat crazy) get rescued by Ah-Nold may be more enjoyable.
That scene was awesome. Being filmed as one shot really upped the level of anxiety and it was hard to look away.snowdog90 said:

Tried to watch the first and got bored.
Started the 2nd because of the comments here and the first action scene. Incredible! Never seen anything like that.

I think I prefer the "story/world" of JW over Extraction, but I like Hemsworth's character and acting more than Keanu/Wick.

That's exactly what I said.
Surviving a bullet to the throat? No problem suspending reality for me.
Surviving falling into a Bangladeshi river with multiple open wounds? No ****ing chance.
Just watched it last night and holy crap that was fun
