Also, gotta say the vibes feel totally different from Season 1.

I would say this season feels more like White Lotus.

On episode 6.

Carrey Mulligan's character might be the most insufferable character I've ever seen.

Maybe it's me-

but Beef Season One the Steven Yeun character seemed to be a decent human being just kept making stupid mistakes and letting his anger destroy him

in Beef Season Two EVERY character seems to be a loathsome criminal, liar and immoral.

Why do you bold so many random things in every single post. It's so tiresome.

Haven't watched White Lotus, so what does this mean for where the reference doesn't hit? Is this good/bad/ugly? No spoilers please.

Yeah, really liked season 1 and flew through it. I'm having to take this one in smaller doses. Mulligan and her husband are both insufferable, IMO. But I guess that's intentional. Maybe Ashley's the only one that's not completely irredeemable?

This isn't so much about two people in a rivalry with themselves, but a large group of people spiraling in self-destructive behavior.

This is basically what White Lotus is. Also the rich/poor contrast, financial scheming, constant backstabbing, and death.

Agree 100%. My hatred actually flipped more toward Ashley in the final few episodes.

But every character is awful.
