I was today years old when I found out that Man on Fire with Denzel was critically panned.

I had no clue, I've always thought it was an amazing movie with great performances by Mickey Rourke, Mark Anthony, Denzel, and Dakota Fanning.

The only person who is a terrible actress is the wife and her laughable affected southern twang.

I think it's my favorite Denzel movie. I definitely like it better than training day.

Also there is this awesome Walken scene

Don't forget Christopher Walken. Great movie, always stop and watch if it's on tv.

Agree on the mom. Her accent changes throughout the movie.

Love this movie. This is another of one of those movies where the critic and audience scores are polar opposites.

An all time favorite for me. Another example of why I never take critics seriously. Had no idea that was panned.

Never seen that alternated ending before either.

I saw Denzel and Dakota are back together again in the latest Equalizer movie.

Saw the preview to that and spotted that. My first thought was….time to watch Man on Fire again.

yup. its not a good movie. its a great movie.

Great movie. But if he blew the Voice up with a bomb up his own ass, that might have ruined the movie for me. They went with the best ending for sure.
