On HBO. Off to a bit of a shaky start. Thought this would be a drama, not a dry dramedy

I'm getting the same feeling from Woody Harrelson's over the top gruffness as I did from Tom Hanks showcase in Elvis

I watched the first episode and something just didn't click for me with it. Doubt I'll watch any more episodes, unless I hear from enough people I know that it gets better. It felt like it was trying for something and failing, is the only way I can explain it.

Once I realized that Justin Theroux is doing a Daniel Planview impression, I can't unhear it and it's ruined his character for me.

Still a pretty entertaining show.

Watched one episode; it put my wife to sleep so that will make it difficult to add it to the queue. I enjoyed it BUT kept thinking I was watching a different version of Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas; the characters are a little too over the top; which for G Gordon Liddy I know is not far from reality.
