I'm sure I'll lose my man card here, but one summer at A&M, I lived with my future wife. We'd take morning classes then come back to the apartment, eat grilled cheese sandwiches and watch General Hospital and All My Children then go to work.

What a great summer that was. But, we became General Hospital fans for life.

The tv rooms in The Commons and other dorms had specific groups that were loyal to their soaps and would only play certain shows at 11, 12, and 2 (I don't remember a good soap at 1pm).

Gal I dated was big into Y&R and GH. Somewjay interested in Days. Not so much All My Children.

I realized after a bit, "Hey, they don't put any ugly women on these shows".

Jackie Zeman was a babe. I was also a big Finola Hughes fan.
