Surprised I haven't seen anything about this yet. Three episodes have aired and I'm loving it so far. Woody Harrelson is his usual dependable self but Justin Theroux is absolutely killing it as G. Gordon Liddy.

Might be because I could never really get into Veep.

I stopped watching in the first episode about 2/3 of the way through. I thought it was slow/boring and kind of goofy - not what I was really hoping for. If you like it good for you.

If any of y'all didn't listen to G Gordon Liddy back in the day you missed out!! He was literally insane.

This is satire comedy based on true events, while Veep was a satire, one could argue it's based on true events now!!!

Selena would be far more competent than KAMALA!!

You're entitled to your opinion. My wife (who isn't political) was fired up to watch this and towards the end of the first episode, I asked her if she wasn't enjoying it. She said, no it was godawful and I could change the channel if I wanted to.

Again, if you're enjoying this I suspect you're a lefty and laugh at anything that makes fun of Republicans. You probably think Stephen Colbert is hilarious.

Would love to see the screeching from liberals if a vastly disproportionate amount of film and TV and entertainment in general vilified them and turned a blind eye to anything bad that conservatives did.

I think we are all grown ups and can admit that the industry is INSANELY biased in one political direction, and that this is naturally going to annoy people on a certain side of the political spectrum more than others. If the shoe was on the other foot though...would be hilarious. Conservatives tend to still mostly just sack it up and pay for the ticket, or subscription, or whatever. Liberals screech and weep and gnash teeth the loudest when their feewings are huwt.

I used to watch the Daily Show when Jon Stewart hosted it because in spite of his politics, it was genuinely funny a lot of the time. I watched SNL make fun of Republicans and usually laughed (Will Ferrell's "W" and Tina Fey's Palin were hilarious). I can take a joke, as long as it's funny.

Maybe I'm wrong about your politics. I'm not wrong about this show. Dreadfully unfunny.

Nice to see Aggie, Marc Menchaca, pop up in a small role in this.

I'm really only watching for the acting performances at this point. Both leads are wildly entertaining. But the show itself is mostly boring.

I agree that the actual plot at this point is a little stale. Part of that is because it's a retelling of something we all know about. I realize most just know of Watergate and not the inner workings but this doesn't dive much into the inner workings.

It's good enough for me to finish up. And Theroux as a caricature Liddy is an Emmy level performance at this point imo. Woody is fine but this show is all about Theroux

If you haven't read Liddy's autobiography and are interested in him, "Will" is a must. It is a good insight into DC back in the sixties, as well as his training for the FBI and his time in prison.
