Howdy, Ryan, FTA class of '12 here. Can anyone help me with TexAg policies on directing fellow Ags on here to listen to my podcast? I figured the entertainment board would be a good place to go.

The Aggie Network is legit, so I figured I could "promote" it somewhere on TexAgs.

Well I suppose I didn't want to cross any lines with the staff on here if there was a rule against "promoting" a show like that. Was more asking if there was a policy against it first.

It's not sports related, but rather current events and hard topics with a bit of a humorous edge to it all. Seeing things from the gray areas vs. being automatically one side against the other because you're told to be.

If staff gives me the go ahead, or someone is sure that it's okay, I'll post the link and all that.

In my experience, if you're not trying to sell something and want to just promote something entertaining that you created, it should be cool. Lots of people have done that, me included

Thanks for the advice! That makes me feel better. I'll probably post something soon. Obviously, it's not everyone's cup of tea, but the Aggie network is powerful. Would love to get it out there.

TCTTS has talked posted about his podcast he was producing on here. We also had an author recently talk about a book signing at an Alamo Drafthouse recently. It will be fine.

Just post a link. If it's not a competitor I don't think they'll care. Worst case they take it down.

That's the issue. I don't feel as though I'm over the line with these policies, but rather, gliding along it.

Just want to respect staff and the site.
