Interesting tidbits, but sure seems there could have been a meatier article rather than Tweets. In any event, this one of the best -- if not THE best -- Batman movies to date. It's a shame Burton and Keaton couldn't make the other two together.

I read once that they backed up the money truck to Keaton for the Schumacher film but Keaton said he wouldn't do it without Burton.

I remember people were excited for Kilmer because he fit that typical Bruce Wayne/Batman look and he was just coming off Tombstone and one of the most memorable badass characters ever.

I enjoyed that movie right up to the moment a bunch of penguins waddled onto the streets and firing rockets from backpack launchers.

This is a solid list of steaming piles of crap. But Batman & Robin beats all of them. It beats out Superman IV: The Quest for Peace by a hair.

I should probably rewatch both just to see if my opinion circa 1997 still holds, but damn, I don't want to give my TV a disease.

Edit - have to add that the theatrical release of JL had a damn fine movie at its core, as evidenced by Zach Synder's Justice League, but the hack Joss Whedon just couldn't help himself. How he made The Avengers, and to a lesser degree Age of Ultron, so damn good is beyond me.

Yeah. I'd take Superman fighting Nuclear Man any day of the week over Batman and Robin.
