Scariest movie I'd ever seen when I caught it in HS. I had no idea what I was getting into.
The Sixth Sense is the scariest movie ever made imo. The Ring scared the sh** out of me too. The only movie on your list I found truly scary was Hereditary. The only part of The Exorcist that scared me was the part where they draw her blood (I hate watching blood being drawn). Guess we all have different tastes.aggierogue said:
I have no idea how people can call this the scariest movie they've ever seen. I didn't find it scary at all.
When I think of scary, I think of movies like The Exorcist, Insidious, The Shining, or Hereditary.
This was the scary part. Just a totally different sci-fi concept than most were used to. And the depictions of hell were pretty graphic and frightening as a teenager.jeffk said:
Different strokes for different folks? Sense of terror varies just like sense of humor. For instance I think The Shining is pretty goofy. For some reason, I thought a spaceship back from hell was pretty terrifying back in the day.
For me, it is Alien, The Exorcist, Poltergeist, and Paranormal Activity.Bruce Almighty said:
I can only think of 3 movies that have scared me: The Exorcist, Fire in the Sky and The Day After.
