Actually, RDJ is the dude playing a dude disguised as another dude.

At my job back in those days, we'd do a work "offsite" where we'd have a team lunch and then go to the movies and people would split into 2-3 groups depending on what movie they wanted to see. TT had just come out, and being a Ben Stiller fan but not knowing much else about this movie, my co-worker buddy and I chose to see TT.

The only other person to choose it? My 55 year old female boss. You talk about immediately regretting a life choice when the Booty Sweat ad cranked up. And right out of the gate, it was clear she was NOT cut out for this one. She actually walked out about 15-20 into it. So awkward.

Lol, i hate to be a 'one-upper' but this was so hilarious i have to share.

Saw an uncut version of 'team america, world police' on the way to a big meeting/meet and greet in shanghai. After the plane ride our ceo heard us cracking up so i gave him the dvd.

We go this big shabang meeting, our american team and these big, conservative, high-commie business team from the china side - men and women.

So my ceo wants to have a post - dinner get together at this fancy footrub place…yes, just a fancy group room with nice chairs and people rubbing our feet…and the movie he picks is …team america world police.

I keep trying to say, jim, ffs, have you seen this movie?

I'm thinking, Mrs. Shao their cfo does NOT seem like the 'puppet girl ****ting on her puppet dude's face' kind of lady. At least not in a public 'face' saving fortune 500 meet and greet.

Anyway, it was a full comedy scene with me trying to get jim's attention and random people and **** getting between me and him, then him starting the movie. For a while we were all sitting there getting our feet runbed… Some people laughing, some uncomfortable, and finally me and some friends from both sides knowing the puppet sex scene was looming ever closer, and having to stage a coup with our cfo and a buddy pulling the ****ing fire alarm out in the hall just in time.

It was pretty epic.

As I go back and rewatch, a highly underrated performance in that is Bill Hader as Tom Cruise's assistant. Tom Cruise is such a show stealer in every scene he has in that movie, but if you look around in all of his scenes, Bill Hader is usually doing something hilarious in the background.

One of the best cameos of all time.

Terrifically underrated movie

My wife had never seen it, so I showed her last year.

She somehow didn't realize what it was supposed to be. Watching the absurd reality dawning on her face over the first 20 minutes is one of the great movie experiences of my life.
