Best Actor Drama is a hell of a tough one this year. As much as Odenkirk has deserved one for years, I kinda think (and hope) Culkin wins. He was amazing.

It sucks it's both of their last shots.

When is it being held? Will they have writers or actors participating?

Succession, White Lotus, and Last of Us actors absolutely dominating their categories.

Best Supporting Actor has 4 from Succession and 4 from White Lotus. Two shows, one network. That's gotta be some kind of record.

Have to say a lot of these feel like they were kind of thrown out for the star caliber or the show overall. Cherry Jones for Succession for a single scene?

One of the best years for TV since the end of the Golden Age IMO. I really enjoyed/loved Succession, The Last of US, Better Call Saul, The Bear, White Lotus, Barry, Abbott Elementary, Only Murders, and Poker Face.

I think Succession should win Best Drama. For the acting awards, there are soooo many good nominees that it's hard (not impossible) to go wrong.

That Best Actor category is going to be tough.

Surprised no Jamie Lee Curtis Guest Actress nom for her appearance in The Bear.

It's pretty crazy that not a single acting nomination for HotD or Andor. Just goes to show what kind of year of TV we just had, cause both of those had some amazing performances.

Definitely feels like Brian Cox was one of the "star power" nominations. He was in 2 episodes and not a particular standout like he has been in the past. Considine was amazing.

I'm mildly annoyed that Better Call Saul has been completely overlooked and I assume it will happen again one last time but in the end it doesn't matter one bit. The show is still one of the greatest ever IMO.

Not sure The Bear is comedy.

If Paul Walter Hauser doesn't win best supporting actor for Black Bird just stop giving the award.

The comedy / drama distinction is basically meaningless at this point.

Barry might be funny but that's a drama. I laugh probably 5x more per capita during an episode of Succession. (An actual drama.)

Didn't realize Harriet Walter (Succession) is the same actress who plays Martha Walker in Silo. Excellent in both but completely different characters. I guess that's why they call it "acting."

Happy to see Bad Sisters represented, but was surprised that the nominated actress wasn't Anne-Marie Duff who played Grace, the emotionally-abused wife.

I guess they figured Rhea Seehorn (Better Call Saul) has better chances in the Supporting Actress category, but she's in almost as many scenes as Bob.

This is probably the most interesting Emmy nominations list I can remember seeing.
