I agree completely. It felt like they had an idea for the apache scene and had to figure out a way to shoe horn it into the story line at the end.

For S3 can we dispense with the looking up in the sky and crying after every battle because she misses her family?

Either quit the job or whip some ass. I felt like she got weaker in S3

Pretty sure that was by design. Not disagreeing that it was kind of annoying. But I think it's a bit of possible foreshadowing, or setting up for her to become a "desk jockey"…and maybe her finally realizing that's what needs to happen to save her marriage. Who knows though.

Can't star this enough. Jo acted like a belligerent ******* when talking to senior operators/officers but then walked around with tears in her eyes and boo-hooing after every operation. Act like the leader you're supposed to be. It's also amazing that her life-threatening wound healed up fast enough for her to participate in chaotic combat. Other than her character (and I know she's the main character), I enjoyed watching the series.

We didn't even get that. All of the talk about an Apache Pilot and she only ever flies a Little Bird and Blackhawk. Those are both bad ass, but they're not an Apache.

Just got done watching this. Loved a lot of things about it really was entertained, despite some of the highrolling moments.

I also learned something new about Taylor. Sheridan

I got a free Paramount sub this week and was trying to get through at least season 1, made it through about five episodes and that's about all I could take.
My biggest gripe is that he has no idea how to truly write tough female characters here. His answer in every single argument or conversation is to just drop an F bomb, not a single other swear word is ever used, just F this F that. It's comically lazy writing, anyone who swears throws every word at you. And F bombs don't equal "tough" anyway. His backup plan is to make sure they're in charge of everything. As if power equals toughness.
Then there is the fact that they spend more time discussing top secret stuff in restaurants than offices (does anyone even have one?) to try and make it interesting, including trying to woo a senator or congresswoman that they could, I don't know, do a formal committee brief for? Zoe's character is literally two different people home and away in a way that isn't all all realistic, her surgical husband has time to be a stay at home dad I guess, except the one time he's actually at his job and can't do it well. And that's before all the girl power stuff. I don't mind female centric movies or roles and actually enjoy a lot of them, but we are beaten over the head with it here. But good news is I got to that point before my free sub was up. So 8 dollars saved. I'm rich!
