Not technically parachuting, but I'll go with Temple of Doom. The only redeeming thing about the entire movie.

I searched YouTube and found this 15 minute long interview with the guy who did the stunt. Pretty interesting.

Yeah, i,o greatest stunt ever and most iconic stunt/movie opening scene - spy who loved me.

Greatest overall scene - fandango no doubt. But you have to watch the whole flick. Youre cheating yourself if you only watch a clip

There is one in Jumping Jacks where Dean Martin and Jerry Lewis are paratroopers and end up with Jerry coming out of his chute, landing on top of Dean's chute, and then climbing down and holding onto Dean the rest of the way down to the ground where they safely land.

It's terrible.

"The Longest Day" had some of the best parachute scenes depicting the D-Day landings. This particular scene is probably one of the best in cinematic history. The paratrooper drops in and gets caught on the roof of a burning church and has to watch from above as his buddies drop down into German hands and slaughtered.

I always loved Roger Moore as Bond skiing off the cliff and then the Union Jack parachute opens up during his free fall. It was in The Spy Who Loved Me.

Not sure there are parachutes in this scene. Definitely some skydiving though.

The behind the scenes clips of how they filmed this is impressive.
