This started yesterday and I couldn't find a thread so starting this one, I know we've got some John Wick fans around. They're calling it a miniseries (three 90ish minute episodes), episode one is out on Peacock.

Watched episode 1 last night and enjoyed it overall, couple thoughts:

- I haven't totally decided how I feel about the actor playing young Winston but he's definitely got some of the inflections and mannerisms down. It's interesting to watch.

- Action sequences are very John Wick style, stylized and over the top and gory. They're fun.

- Thought the weak point was the brother, his action was great but he wasn't an especially believable actor for me.

- Surprised to see Mel Gibson in this but he's solid in his role so far.

- Loved young Charon and he totally looks and sounds the part.

- Enjoying the story and intrigued to see where it goes and how Winston becomes the manager, will definitely tune in for ep 2.

The 1969 Ford Boss 429 Mustang should look familiar if you're paying attention.

That was a fun 1st episode. Music and characters are great!

Finished it last night, it's got some fun action and digs into some interesting backstory of the John Wick universe and The Continental. Not a must watch IMO but entertaining if you're into the franchise.

Just finished it. Dammit that was good! The music and characters were awesome! I kept getting Kill Bills quirkiness vibes!

This is very good so far! Way exceeded expectations!
