hell is a real spiritual state, deliberately chosen by refusal to subjugate one's will for the will of God. Meaning, one did not accept the telos of life is theosis to Logos, and torment is thus enduring the absence of God. We are embodied spirits that will endure one way or another.

We can know more about such objective realities through subjective experiences, especially if there are commonalities across time and environment. (Fortean analysis)

Derm is influenced by David Bentley Hart, a very formidable Orthodox scholar who has produced an excellent and amazing New Testament translation I highly recommend.

While it's true the nature and even the reality of hell was heavily debated before the tragic split, Orthodox thought is united that salvation is a process, a theosis, received by faith through grace, primarily in the conduits of the Sacraments. As such, an opposite decision exists, and an opposite of the Beatific Vision. I do recommend Hart's translation, and my favorite mystical tradition, including the descent of Christ to this place on April 3, 33 AD, is detailed in the visions of Anne Catherine Emmerich (Angelico Press).

It's also important to be precise with terminology, and we too often are overly broad which obscures much. Demons, for example, are narrowly defined by 2nd Temple era scribes and authors, and entities - including some from hell - can be demonic without fitting their definition.

Close textual analysts from Protestantism can be very good on this, and I especially like Michael Heiser (RIP) and Tim Alberino.

To be fair, the last Office spinoff was The Farm- the backdoor pilot episode in the final season that was intended to move on to a full series, based on Dwight's family. A series that nobody needed. It was well cast, but rightfully killed.
Keep in mind, that show runner was going to be Paul Lieberstein. The office took a dramatic left turn as soon as he took over and Schur and Daniels left.

Everything Paul has touched outside the office is gar-bage.

Personally I'd rather just watch a live stream of the writers room with the networks selected writers and TexAg posters trying to write a script together for a reboot of The Office.

The back and forth about what jokes should be in the show would be worth it.

Writer: "we can't say that"
TexAgs poster "but that's WHY it's funny!"

No idea if this will be any good or not, but as of now I'm legit looking forward to having a "network" sitcom back in my life…

Four episodes the first week, then two episodes per week until the end of the season.... So, this will be done by the end of September?

Yep it will take 3 weeks to air all 10 episodes. I'll give this a shot but I'm leery.

Is it really a network sitcom if it doesn't air on a network?

Shouldn't Oscar and Gil have retired to some hedonistic paradise after Oscar recounted all of the crap he put up with at Dunder-Mifflin and got a 7-figure payoff, then also blackmailed Angela's husband to not expose their affair?
