Also reading about him turned out he had a wife of 61 years AND a girlfriend 25 years younger and essentially a family with both including like a 14 year old. Dude must of been able to use that humor to be one heck of a smooth talker.

Really sad to hear. Richard Harris was tough to replace, but I came to really cherish Gambon's performance, especially in the much-anticipated fight with Voldemort in Goblet of Fire, his lessons with Harry in Order of the Phoenix, and his World Between Worlds encounter with Harry near the end of Deathly Hallows.

I am forever disappointed they didn't do some CGI trickery and let him and Fiennes get together to do the wonderful book scene in The Half-Blood Prince where Voldemort comes to interview for the Defense against the Dark Arts post at Hogwarts. Great scene, those two actors would have killed it together.

Was actually really good as the bad guy in Open Range, which is a very underrated Western.

Totally agree. That book in particular was full of moments I was looking forward to seeing on screen, but were never part of the movie. Instead they added useless filler that wasn't in the book and did nothing for the story.

You beat me to it...he was fantastic in that movie and the back and forth with Duvall was incredible. It's a very underrated movie and one of the first performances for Andor's Diego Luna, although he's mostly unconscious throughout lol.

This triggers me so much. Just enrages me how they purposefully ruined my favorite book of the series. Especially when we know they can do great things:

The Felix felices scen? Fantastic.

The cave scene? Beyond my expectations... you could not have done that better.
