Somewhat quietly Netflix added 4 new Wes Anderson short films versions of lesser known Dahl stories. Typically heavy handed Anderson style of his recent works. Films are presented in a mix of a play, narration and a film at the same time.
If you are a Anderson and/or Dahl fan you will probably like/love these. If you are Anderson neutral and want something interesting to watch with kids , worth a watch.
If you hate Wes Anderson, you will hate these.

I thought Wonderful Life of Henry Sugar was the best one.

I love Wes Anderson and thought all these were great but yes Henry Sugar was the best.
His typical camera framing, pans and rotation is his usual style. He has recently been doing this style of dynamic theatre sets which he really perfected here. As the actor moves in to a set, walls pull away to reveal the next set. It is fun to be more true to the original authored work and tell the story in more of a play like fashion.

I saw one-off the previews not knowing it was Wes Anderson. Makes sense now. So GD pretentious.
