This is not a diss towards TC, but admittedly his absence was noticeable because of how the fights died way down for the last month. It's kind of nuts.
Good to have you back though TC. And in fairness to you, there's another guy who's absence would've had the same effect. (Yes, the guy who got you banned.)

I got banned once for two hours. It pissed me off big time. I was making fun of another poster, but I was pretty passive aggressive. I felt like staff was a little aggressive with me.

I am/was beware of Doug, so it wasn't me. I've never been in prison for 4 years (although I've been married for over 20)
I just saw 31 replies to this thread and thought for sure it was mostly going to be nonsense and piling on, but instead it was mostly just fun and laughs.

… but yeah, I did also notice that the usual suspects who cause all the nonsense in the first place left as well. They're like moths to a flame. Regardless, I said this in another thread, but despite how ineffective it can be, I've finally begun using the ignore feature for a number of people on this board, so I'm doing what I can to stay away from all that crap from now on.

Exactly. This is why I've never even really bothered using it. If it could be like they truly didn't exist - we couldn't even see that they posted, and people couldn't quote them - I would use it all the damn time. But as-is it's just kind of pointless. Still, I'm trying to turn over a new leaf, and doing what I can...

Truth be told, I said what I said knowing full well what would happen to me. Things had reached an insufferable fever pitch in a couple of threads, I purposely posted what I did, and then a fellow poster immediately DMed me, saying I should probably delete it or risk getting banned. I told him I welcomed the ban, needed a break, and then like two minutes later I got my wish, haha. Granted, I expected a week or so, not a month, but it was deserved, and welcomed. And that dude is now on ignore and I will not be engaging with him - and a few others - ever again.
