Holy sh** that's hilarious and will definitely ruffle some feathers.

Maybe Disney staaarting to learn their lesson???

Disney played themselves. Now they'll be criticized for not hiring actual little persons in the first place.

They were trying so hard to go woke (Peter Dinklage takes some blame) that they did a full 360.

CGI dwarves in a live action remake. Well, that's one way to get around actor contracts!

Still not going to see it. Zegler completely turned me off to this, even if they're abandoning the poorly thought out diversity dwarves. Fairly confident the CGI dwarves will look like crap too. Just not worth it.

I'll be busy seeing the one played by Ben Shapiro in drag.

That was incredible. And the Panderstone is actually the best explanation for all of Kathleen Kennedy's recent decisions. Do you think she will watch this?

I honestly thought they were close kinfolk the first time I ever saw her.

The clip where Kelly tells Eric the whole story, followed by his dead pan response that that's actually the most believable reason he's heard as to why Disney sucks now had me laughing out loud.

Thought the special was pretty great and their best skewer since the COVID specials.

1) The takedown of Disney was pretty great. The back-and-forth with PC Principal is the best part of the special.

2) I also enjoyed Cartman coming to the realization that his drastic overreaction to everything made the problem worse.

3) The subplot of white-collar workers being unable to accomplish basic things and getting replaced by AI was great. Randy's "A.I. could do everything better than we can except for stuff that requires arms!" line was the best single line of the special. Also, it was great to see the handymen devolve into idiot billionaires more concerned about one-upping each other than doing any work.

4) I wasn't a huge fan of the ending in that it just ended suddenly, which felt out of place from the rest of the story.

Will this only be on Paramount+, or will it head to max eventually?

Wasn't there a legal fight over this not too far back? HBO felt like they got duped out of the specials or something of that nature?

Yeah. Paramount didn't have a streaming service at the time, so they sold the rights to HBO. Once they started Paramount+ they needed some content so they had them make these one off specials as a loophole since they don't fit the definition of the standard episodes they sold to HBO. I believe the deal runs out in a year or so and everything will revert back to Paramount. Kind of the same thing as why paramount doesn't currently have the rights to stream Yellowstone even though it is their product.
