This was the very first movie I went to with my wife back when we were at A&M. I love the movie anyway but it holds a special place in my heart as well.

It was a fun night at the Drafthouse.

It was quite obvious there was not a soul in the house who had not seen the movie. Every time the camera revealed Michael Meyers standing clear as day in the shadows, or when he sat up after taking a knife to the face, the crowd laughed.

But I have to say, the dude who came in to watch wearing a full Michael Meyers costume was just a bit creepy. This guy had the mannerisms down pat, when he got up to walk out of the auditorium with that plodding gait MM walked with.

I can't wait to show this to my kids. They think they can handle Michael Myers because he's a skin in Fortnite. Little do they know

I was 13 yo when this movie was released in 1978. It was the first and only time I ever yelled at the movie screen.

"NO F'ING WAY! NO F'ING WAY!!"

My adolescent brain couldn't handle how Michael Myers just refused to stay down.

Everyone else in the theater was screaming, too. Otherwise, I'm sure an usher would have told me to leave.
