The first 3 outkast albums are all time greats. Git up git out is a timeless song and if it doesn't make you want to do better for yourself then you're a lazy piece of **** with no drive.

I met Andre one time almost 20 years ago and we chatted for a sec and he was legitimately happy to speak with a fan. He had very soft hands, but that is neither here nor there.

Also, I feel like he did this just because of that skit key and peele did where he was dressed like the pied piper.

Kinda preferred Big Boi but glad to see Andre back in action.

Chris Gaines can't wait to hear this album.

Currently on Track 4 of New Blue Sun. Starting to think some bad white girl hippie got Andre into some shrooms during this creative process. This isn't an album you'll be bumpin in your ride - but definitely recommend if you're taking a, ahem - trip.

Ive listened to a few songs from the new album and its basically what I expected: some trippy, new age, experimental flute music lol. The main downside for me is theres no actual lyrics on any of the songs, just him playing the flute. I was hoping for some singing melodies or a few raps.

This album makes Yani seem exciting by comparison

Yeah, but no one mentioned how bad it would suck. This is like something some pothead burnout college student with little musical experience would put together thinkin it was "dope".

This has to be a big prank after thinking about it. I bet this is to stir up attention and pave the way to an actual real album with real music.

I get where he's coming from but start rapping about 401k's, college savings accounts, elders dying, marriage, buying a house and building a home.

I've grown up too but it doesn't mean he can't create relatable music for people our age. ****.

Andre said he previewed the album for Tyler the Creator and Frank Ocean and wanted to get their thoughts on it. I can't even imagine what they were thinking when they were listening to it in front of him lol.

Definitely not. Listen to his interview I posted further up the thread - this is what he's really into these days. May not be for us, but it is for him. Of course I'd selfishly MUCH rather him drop a new rap album but he's currently really into creating with woodwinds. He's recorded for a few movie scores already.

I actually listened to the whole album while working today. I usually listen to jazz while working so gave this a shot. I kind of dig it for what it is. No, there are obviously no bangers on it. It's massage room music meets a little bit of jazz infusion. I could definitely see putting this on again as random background music at the right time.

Now if you want a version that slaps…
