I did think it was a unique touch that during testimony Hall explained the need for a restraining order when he looked at Oates and sang, "Because your fist (your fist) was on my lips."
I wish that they would bring back their tiger shows in Vegas. That was awesome.

My only Daryl Hall story.
Good friend of the family is boot maker in Houston and has made boots for quite a few celebrities. Daryl Hall comes in and asks for a pair of boots. After going through the sizing, picking out the leather and look he announces that he is not going to be paying for the boots and he should just get them for free because he is Daryl Hall. Well, he didn't get the boots. Not to sure what is going on between him and Oates because I didn't read the story but pretty sure Daryl Hall is in the wrong…dude is a dick.

That's a shame. What a great duo. Private Eyes is a good representation of early 80s music and early MTV when pop music peaked, IMO.

Hall was blue-eyed soul at its best. Sorry to hear that he is a jerk. Out of Touch is still a fav on my playlist.
Hall's talent really shines on his "Live from Daryl's House" series.
I guess Oates being hard to handle isn't a dream come true in your 70s.
Went to see Tears for Fears (great show) and Hall and Oates was also on the bill so we decided to stick around and watch - 80's flashback. The absolute worst show we've seen - never seen someone phone it in like Hall did. Not surprised he's a jerk on and off stage. And had no idea Oates is about 4 feet 10 inches tall. Looked like a hobbit.
