I'm guessing there is a very high correlation to those who didn't see Sound of Freedom and those who don't want to see this.

Oh, and the movie looks good. Hopefully it makes its way to a mainstream streaming service.

I saw the movie last night. The plot seems a bit slow getting started, but once the "Lady Ballers" got together, it was hilarious.

Of course, the usual suspects are outraged about the "transphobia".

Doesn't look any worse than most of what Sandler has put out lately, or any of Rob Schneider's movies.

that said, this looks beyond awful. Boreing is a hollywood wash out and this kind of feels like the trust fund kid who's dad buys him a movie house so he can continue his pursuits. ill happily come back and eat crow if its anything above dreadful. but it better go all in on being offensive. i expect Trey Parker and Matt Stone type stuff. go for the jugular.

That's part of the problem. Currently we basically have two camps. The first has no moral qualms whatsoever and will make as crass of as movie as they feel like, but they are terrified of the woke mob and will restrict their jokes to the same 5 being told for the last decade+ to make sure they aren't "punching down". The other camp isn't afraid of the woke mob and will go after the pedestal snowflake groups, but they also are fairly tame in their approach because they're kind of straight-laced churchgoers. That's why South Park is a pretty rare gem...two guys will hold nothing off limits and will satirize just about anyone.
