Excited about the idea of new music but please don't be anything like Gigaton. Ed got waaay to wordy trying to squeeze too many words into each line. PJ is at their best when it is loooooong drawn out phrases.

Hopefully this means another big tour in support of the album. I went to all four Texas shows in September and every one was phenomenal.

And I agree, Gigaton is not a good album at all so hopefully this will be much better.

I for some reason thought I read PJ Harvey in the title. While that would be good to, I'm uber excited by this proposition even more.

Looking forward to this. Couldn't ever get into Gigaton but my wife had it on repeat for a while. It's sort of my "Caddyshack 2"...I'll pretend it didn't happen.

Two nights at Wrigley sounds like a lot of fun as well.

There was an Ed solo show in Vegas in 2011 where he offered to play a song from the crowd for a donation to a charity.....and the donor asked for Black and Ed was like, "Ew, I don't know how to play that". That blew my mind.

If I remember correctly, someone ended up playing it on a piano for him. I need to go find that bootleg again now.

Labor Day weekend - those tickets will be even more bonkers than Wrigley normally is because EVERYONE will travel for that weekend

That's funny because I just ordered this shirt two days ago that I saw on a random IG ad:

And now I will only be able to view it as him struggling thinking about how he doesn't know how to play it. I take guitar lessons weekly, completely suck ass, and even I can play that song. He had to have been doing a bit or on his fifth bottle of wine.
