Good to know. The reviews/reactions I've read have REALLY turned me off wanting to see it, but yeah, I should probably still give it a shot at some point.

Beyond Utopia. A documentary showing the underground railroad for people escaping North Korea. Real footage, just amazing. Hopefully this wins the Oscar.

for mainstream - Oppenheimer was best on my list.

My level of out of touch is approaching disbelief levels. The only content in this entire thread that I've seen is John Wick, MI, Ashoka, and D&D.

Prefacing this with the fact that I have a 6 month old so my viewing has been about 96% streaming and very sporadic this year...

We haven't watched the latest season but it's really good.

I didn't see a ton of movies this year, but there were some really top tier tv shows. The Bear was my favorite show. I can't get enough of this stressful labor of love. The Last of Us was a surprise for me, one that I really came to love. While I was originally disappointed when the news came out that Succession was ending, I am so happy with how they went out on top. Couldn't imagine a better final season.

Just got around to finishing Loki and got over 25 movies in 2023 watched so feels like I can post my lists.

Love your Top 3 but we start to diverge a little after that.

Delayed bump but did a search to see if Saltburn had been discussed here which lead me to this. Not worth starting a new thread, but 'Saltburn'..........my lord what a ride. My buddy recommended it while we were discussing Baby Reindeer and things you can't 'unsee'. Worth a watch.
