Always liked his performances. Batman Begins, The Patriot, and Valkyrie stand out, but he was in so much.

Man, that's a real shame, he was actually in a lot of movies and was fantastic in every role. Never did I think he was miscast or gave a half ass performance.

Great in Valkyrie as mentioned above. I'll throw in Lord Cornwallis in the Patriot, too. Loved him as Ben Franklin in the John Adams miniseries. Always delivered strong performances. RIP.

Such a great and solid actor. His most memorable role for me was In the Bedroom. That was such a powerful performance. Just an outstanding actor. RIP.
