Thought it was really good.
Imagine the **** show this tweet would've stirred up if it was about a woman.TCTTS said:"Within 'Hit Man' there's a sequence where Glen Powell is so hot that the audience spontaneously burst into applause. It is a pretty wild sentence to write in an article$240 Worth of Pudding said:Imagine the **** show this tweet would've stirred up if it was about a woman.TCTTS said:"Within 'Hit Man' there's a sequence where Glen Powell is so hot that the audience spontaneously burst into applause. The first 30-40 minutes or so are a little goofy, and the whole thing is more subdued than I was expecting, as the trailer seemed to promise a bit more pep and hijinks. IMO, overall, it's not quite as good as the reviews are making it out to be, and the professor asides almost feel like a different movie

The quote above reminding me of a '80's movie called "Something Wild" starring Jeff Daniels, Medoly Griffith, and Ray Loilta. It starts out as a comedy and turns a bit dark halfway through.

I saw it last night. It was "alright."

Wanted to film in Houston but Louisiana offered tax incentives that Texas did not.TCTTS said:
Not to mention it was shot in Texas and is inspired by a true story/Texas Monthly article wherein "a hit man meets his match in a client who steals his heart and ignites a powder keg of deception, delight, and mixed-up identities."

I'm not quite sure I agree, at least for myself. Linklater is my favorite director but this doesn't feel anything like a Linklater film outside of the philosophy portions, although even that felt a bit ham-fisted and disjointed from the rest of the movie.
I separate his films (as I'm sure most of his fans do) into "slice of life" and "traditional story" categories. And among his traditional story movies, I'd rank this near or at the bottom (with School of Rock and Bernie at the top). That's not to say it's bad, it's just not great.
thank you for reminding me! I meant to comment on that but a lot happened after he did it.The D said:

I was worried about the moral message-
but if you hang around to the credits it makes everything okay.
Powell did a great job with the acting in different characters
her ex should never be in a movie- he was apocryphal.
