I honestly don't know how well liked (or not) the 3rd one is. I do remember reading a thing, probably over 10 years ago, that ranked Unforgiven II as one of the worst songs Metallica has ever made (I don't know if they excluded St Anger all together or what). It might have actually been last on the list, and now that I think about it they probably only ranked like 50 or 60 songs.
I actually think the lyrics for III are not the best, but enjoy the music of it. The 2nd one probably suffers for being part of the Re-Load album.
