How long do you want to ignore this user?
It would seem that to qualify for a mention in a thread like this they should have worked on more than one film together?

One that comes to mind for me is Samuel L. Jackson/Quentin Tarantino. These two are typically nails together.

For Scorsese I would say vintage DeNiro was better.

Lucas only directed Ford twice (American Graffiti and Star Wars). Probably should be Spielberg/Ford.

Kidding of course, but you know that Leo is an all-time talent when you can pair him with just about any of the big directors and you have an argument:

Scorcese
Tarantino
Spielberg
Nolan

Goodfellas
Cape Fear
Casino

James Stewart and Anthony Mann

Eight films, the best of which are

Winchester 73
Bend of the River
The Far Country
The Man from Laramie
The Naked Spur

Stewart had been a bomber pilot with the 8th Air Force in WWII and the characters he played for Anthony Mann allowed him to explore inner darknesses that he had not delved into before the war.

It's a pretty good debate actually.

Arnold/Cameron:
Terminator
T2
True Lies

Paxton/Cameron:
Terminator
Aliens
True Lies
Titanic

Who wins?
