So Cilian Murphy + Christopher Nolan. Murphy was a merchant seaman in Dunkirk and Scarecrow in the Dark Knight series. Was he in any other Nolan films?

I only called him a merchant seaman since the civilians found him perched atop a sunken ship, which I figured was more of a cargo ship than a warship. It's been a while since I watched the movie, so I don't really recall if he had any meaningful dialogue beyond his mentioning the U-boat attack that sank his ship.
