Maybe in Nashville, but given that they're one of the few states that doesn't even allow for medical, I'd imagine that outside the cities you've got plenty of small town/county cops more than willing to make that kind of bust. Kind of like in Texas.Definitely Not A Cop said:easttexasaggie04 said:

It's Hootie and the Blowfish, not Hootie and the Budfish
But I really don't know. I'm assuming harder drugs for an arrest in Tennessee.
Quote:
According to an arrest affidavit, Rucker was pulled over after a deputy spotted his GMC pickup with the previous version of current Tennessee license plates and suspected that it was expired.

The deputy asked when the last time he had smoked was and Rucker reportedly stated, "Probably yesterday." After conducting a search of the vehicle, authorities found 14 unstamped purple pills in a jar and a black THC pen, the affidavit said.

Took me a second. How many won't get this joke?

The pills were submitted to the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation, with analysts later confirming that they were Psilocyn, a schedule I controlled substance.
Quote:
Psilocin (also known as 4-HO-DMT, 4-hydroxy DMT, psilocine, psilocyn, or psilotsin) is a substituted tryptamine alkaloid and a serotonergic psychedelic substance. It is present in most psychedelic mushrooms[3] together with its phosphorylated counterpart psilocybin. Psilocin is a Schedule I drug under the Convention on Psychotropic Substances.[4] Acting on the 5-HT2A receptors, psilocin modulates the production and reuptake of serotonin.[5] The mind-altering effects of psilocin are highly variable and subjective and resemble those of LSD and DMT.
Maybe so, but to me he'll always be a faded pop artist who's "Gone Country."Andrew Dufresne said:EclipseAg said:

Well.. he's had 10 #1 songs on country radio
He was never a traditional pop artist though. Hootie & The Blowfish was a Southern rock, college bar band, that spent almost a decade playing small venues that eventually rode the wave of the 90's back when traditional bands were part of the pop mainstream. When the musical landscape shifted, they were much closer to country music than the pathetic remnants of rock. He was very much a singer-songwriter, and fits in just fine with modern country.EclipseAg said:Maybe so, but to me he'll always be a faded pop artist who's "Gone Country."Andrew Dufresne said:EclipseAg said:
