Anybody ever been to this at Willie's ranch in Spicewood? I got invited in 2020 and then covid killed it. Got a call again a couple of weeks ago to attend and will be able to make it for the first time.

The lineup got released today and while I only recognize about seven of the artists, I'm pretty pumped about it all. I had heard tickets are always hard to come by but didn't realize until today that it only admits 3,500.

I went the first five years and a couple in between. It is the only SXSW event I will go to since it has become a corporate cesspool over the last decade. Free booze included with your tickets , the venue is an old Western town used in a handful of earlier westerns. You can catch a lot of great acoustic sets at the chapel but get in line early as it only seats 100 or so when full. You'll have a blast, just get ready for the cluster of getting out as it can take 2 to 3 hours since it's on private property with a single exit .
