Anyone heard of Crown Lands? These two guys are very good. First video is very long but well worth sitting through it.

I've been a big Genesis fan ever since the release of their 1980 album, Duke. Before that, I really didn't understand any of their work. Too artsy, too intellectual.
while the Peter Gabriel years are by far my favorite, you should really give Trick of the Tail and Wind and Wuthering a chance.......they are both pre-Duke albums and Peter had left the band........you'll probably really enjoy them........can't say the same for the And Then There Were Three album though........has a few good songs, but overall it's just bad....

if you haven't listed to it yet, give the Three Sides Live album a go......this is the tour supporting the release of Abacab....it's phenomenal....it contains In The Cage (Medley Cinema Show/Slipperman) which is a peak into some Gabriel era stuff....so good

Man. There is a lot to unpack there. The fact that attendees can book their slots to play songs on the stage with other attendees…that's gotta be something to see

Random music trivia, inspired by the rabbit hole of Wikipedia articles about Genesis. Phil Collins played drums on Robert Plant's "The Principle of Moments" album and tour in 1983.

They are a Canadian band who is heavily influenced by Rush.

Seems like their earlier stuff sounds more like Led Zeppelin but they do it better than Greta Van Fleet. This latest album that they put out goes full Rush though. I just heard of them earlier this week from a huge Rush fan buddy of mine and I've been watching a bunch of their videos on Youtube since then.

Has anyone heard of a band called Can?

They did this in 1969…

Years ago, as a rabid EL&P fan I came across these guys one day...enjoy

They do sound very much like ELP IMO.

Are A&M's core values..optional? Who has the POWER to determine that? Are certain departments exempt? Why?

No love for Arena, Riverside, Threshold, Pain of Salvation...? The last couple probably skew more to the prog metal side, but PoS are probably the most progressive if comparing their most diverse songs. From thrashy metal to rap to disco...
