Best dressed was definitely: anna joy Taylor, Hailee steinfeld, and Carey mulligan.
I think this was one of the most tasteful red carpets we have had in a while. Some really gorgeous looks.
Are we counting the Vanity Fair party? I nominate Emily Ratajkowski.

Not linking since I don't want to risk a banhammer.

Risk it

That's not a dress, it is a long skirt with a windshield

Is Pam Anderson unwell?

She looked rough in the photos of her from the Vanity Fair party.

There's a movement among some female celebs to stop wearing makeup .I believe she is part of that trend.

I admittedly don't know enough about fashion, or even many of the actresses names to comment in depth, but I am a fan of the big ol' free swangin' nipples fad.

I am Just Ken should go down as the greatest song nominee performance. Beating out "Everything is Awesome."

Um, no. A lot of Ken's liking was the performance tribute aspect to Marilyn and Madonna.

Nothing tops Over the Rainbow during 1939 when we were about to enter war.

That oscars was held in Feb 1940 and we entered the war in Dec 1941?

One of my favorite feminist delusions. "Bras are part of the patriarchy!"

Yeah... we dudes hate when you don't wear a bra...

Didn't find a song performance, but at 7:16 the award for best song is handed out. Bonus, Vivian Leigh accepting her award at 16:00

Because Stone absolutely carried Poor Things. Every last scene. She had far more heavy lifting to do. Whereas Gladstone had what amounted to a glorified supporting role. She made a phenomenal impact, and was the soul that movie, but in a dead heat I understand giving Stone the edge due to her sheer workload/responsibility. Never mind the evolution her character underwent over the course of the movie.

Don't think how much you are in the movie should matter, but it's obviously fine to think she did a better job. And the people voting did too.

Anthony Hopkins famously won Best Actor for his 17 minutes of screen time in Silence of the Lambs.

William Hurt got a supporting nod despite being in A History of Violence for 10 minutes.

Congrats to the brilliance of Chrisopher Nolan. But, like sports, for every Chris Nolan, there are 10,000 writers, directors, etc. out there who watched the Oscars while eating a frozen Swansons TV dinner. Tough business.

Acting is a wild profession. There are so many AMAZING actors who never get a chance, because the supply radically outstrips demand. Some people float around in the mire for decades before getting their break.
