One of my favorites from the 80's and 90's. My favorite movie of his is My Life. Will leave you balling no matter how tuff you think you are.

Check out Fly on the Wall podcast with Dana Carvey and David Spade where they interview him and he talks about his standup a little. You can tell he has immense respect for standups and how hard it is and even talked about a lesser known actor who casually told him one time he could have been a stand up if he wanted to like it wasn't that difficult and it really pissed him off.Garrelli 5000 said:
Born in mid-70's and grew up with the 80's Keaton movies.
I was too young to know at the time and only learned when watching Norm McDonald's talk show on Netflix the Keaton started as a standup comedian.
If you have not watched it already, find that Netflix episode. Michael Keaton was absolutely F'ing hysterical and watching the two riff off of each other is priceless television.
My wife and I both were left with a "shamwow that dude is hilarious" impression.

Not one mention of his greatest role ever as Bill Blaze in Nightshift?
I use that reference all the time at work and none of the engineers under 30 get it.Another Doug said:
He is the best actor ever, just for the delivery of this one line
