Well if you think it's a tricked up Breath then that makes sense why I love it so much as that's one of my all time favorite songs.

Listening now. Wreckage is great. I get a late 90's rock feel to it mixed with something more recent...almost a certain kind of country feel? Can't quite place it.
Yes I get a bit of that too, good call out. I am in the same boat on this one, it is a great song.Know Your Enemy said:Chipotlemonger said:

In a couple spots it's reminiscent of Petty's Learning To Fly. This is the song I'm stuck on like a mental patient. I cannot stop listening to it. For whatever reason I connect with it big time.

This is the first PJ album in years - if you don't like this one then clearly this isn't your band
Like I said this producer did the damn near impossible and convinced the band to make an actual PJ record

Finally got my vinyl from 10c.
I'm not an audiophile, but after hearing it on Spotify so many times, it sounds so damn good on vinyl.

Mine will finally be here today too. I dont think I will order from 10 Club again. I saw on reddit that apparently they overcharged some people for shipping and have been giving refunds.
How much did they charge over?Know Your Enemy said:InnocentBystander99 said:Rudyjax said:

The shipping issue was figured out pretty quickly after the vinyl was made available to purchase so yes some people got overcharged initially but were given immediate refunds from what I saw on their forum.

I think it was $15.
It's crazy to think he had been with the band for 27 years. I remember seeing them at Reunion Arena in '98 (The Dennis Rodman show) shortly after he replaced Jack Irons.Quote:
After 27 fantastic years, I have taken my final steps down the drum riser for the mighty Pearl Jam. Much love and respect to Jeff, Ed, Mike and Stone for inviting me into the band in 1998 and for giving me the opportunity of a lifetime, filled with friendships, artistry, challenges and laughter. I am forever grateful to the crew, staff and fans the world over. It's been an incredible journey. More to follow. I thank you all from the bottom of my heart.
Peace and Love,
Matt Cameron

I was at there and, honestly, I'd put it in the top 3 PJ shows I've been to. It was probably because they only played one song from this millennium, but Josh Klinghoffer brought a new energy to the band that night.rhutton125 said:
When I saw them in DFW last, their touring 3rd guitarist guy (Josh?) filled in while Matt has COVID. Wonder if they'll just go with him..?

why not Dave Krusen?
He's been active touring with candlebox in recent years, and has sat in with PJ.
Let's bring it all back around full circle.

Choked on vomit. It was actually someone else's vomit. Shame that you can't really dust for vomit.Quote:

They made out better than Dave Abbruzzese, though. He just exploded on stage. One of dozens of people to spontaneously combust every year...
