Has anyone seen this yet? The original scared the crap out of me as it was a little too real. Saw the second one too, but it didn't stand up to the first.

This one looks good.

I went tonight. Pretty disappointing. They basically rebooted the original movie. The very end is different though.

The storyline is the same…
- long-term couple (unmarried, but close to proposal)
- isolated home in the country
- knock at door during make out time
- record player
- piano in the home being played
- dude finds a shotgun
- dude mistakenly kills innocent person that shows up with shotgun
- bound together at the end
- killed by slow stabbing into abdomens
- girl doesn't die

Daughter made me take her and friends to it for bday party. Not really a horror guy - they normally just don't entertain me. But I can appreciate a good one.

Good lord - the victims are the the absolute dumbest victims out there.

Saw the RT score and didn't give it a chance. I learned my lesson with the Halloween reboot.

I loved the first Strangers movie with Liv Tyler. The sequel back from 2018 was also very good.

I loved the first one too, but it also had a really low RT score (although not this low)!
